WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is an interactive process that supports individuals to set and achieve their work and life goals, and organisations to produce better results. The process involves assessing the current situation, setting goals and agreeing the actions needed to achieve those goals.
At Positive Changes Within we adopt a Cognitive Behavioural Coaching approach, which applies the concepts and methods of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to the practice of coaching. This works on the fact that how you think impacts on the way you feel, which ultimately impacts on your behaviour and the actions that you take.
Cognitive Behavioural Coaching focuses on the future and finding solutions to clients’ challenges, by developing positive thoughts and behaviours. It is client-centred, so that our sessions are always based on our clients’ agenda and their views of situations and goals.
