Reiki

Lifestyles today tend to be very demanding, rushed and stressful, if we let them. There is a continual build-up of tension and anxiety, which we do not allow our bodies time to deal with. This stress leaves the immune and nervous systems drained, leaving the body more susceptible to disease. A daily spiritual practice of some sort can help to boost both our immune and nervous systems.

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) can help. It is the channelling of life force energy into the body, to promote healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Where there is disease or disharmony in the body, the life force energy is not flowing through the body freely. Reiki works naturally, holistically and in harmony with an individual’s system, addressing imbalances within the physical, mental and emotional aspects of that individual. It brings us the means to understand ourselves, to confront issues we are not looking at and to step outside our limitations.

My Reiki lineage descends from Dr Mikao Usui and I offer Reiki as a treatment lasting 1 hour, or used as part of a Hypnotherapy session.

Reiki Training

As a Reiki Master, I offer training in all 3 Levels of Reiki, together with ongoing Spiritual guidance and development. Training can be either 1:1 or in groups of up to four. Once you are attuned at Level I, you can use Reiki on yourself in a daily meditation.

The Five Principles of Reiki

The Reiki Principles say:

Just for today

  • Do not Anger
  • Do not worry
  • Be humble
  • Be honest in your dealings with people
  • Be compassionate towards yourself and others.

Repeating these principles daily whilst in meditation and putting them into practice, you learn to take responsibility for your own life and personal wellbeing.
